How do you pronounce your name?
Logray is pronounced “LOW-gray.” Arnott rhymes with “DARN-it.”
What kind of stuff do you make?
I mostly take pre-existing videos and re-edit them, syncing the footage to a random song or remolding the video to fit a different style or format. For instance, in the past, I’ve taken the opening title sequence from Formula 1 and, after adding in a bunch of other Formula 1 clips, synced it to a song from the Tron Lightcycle ride at Disneyworld. The results were quite awesome.
I also enjoy making comedy skits (both animated and live-action), as well as just animations in general. Once in a blue moon, I might even make a video game and publish it on
Logray Ultimate.
So, I hear you’re on a mission or something. What’s the scoop there?
Until late December 2027, I’m on a service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This video should explain everything.
If you're on a mission, does that mean I have to call you "Elder" or something?
Nah, just stick to "Logray" or "Luke."
I have a question(s) about your church. Are you the best person to ask?
No, at least not in the sense that everything I say is automatically church doctrine. I try to represent the Church as best as I can, but I am not its official spokesperson, and I don’t pronounce doctrine on behalf of the whole Church like the President does. I’m willing to share my testimony regarding my religious beliefs, but if you want to learn about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, there’s no better place to go than
their own website.
What tools do you use for creating your content?
I use PenguinMod for making video games and animating (usually), DaVinci Resolve for video editing and Photopea for editing photos and making video thumbnails.
Who taught you to do all this stuff?
I’m mostly self-taught, especially in using PenguinMod, which I use to make most of my original animations. A lot of my experience with my editing program (DaVinci Resolve) comes from trial-and-error and many a tutorial video.
Why and how do you use AI in your content?
When creating stuff on the web, when I am faced with a problem that I don’t have the money, technical skills or time to solve on my own, I enlist the help of large language models (aka generative AI). I don’t do this because I think AI-generated content is better than purely human-made content, I do it because it gives me time to focus on more complex and abstract tasks; ones that an AI would struggle with. For someone like me who doesn’t have a team of professional artists and animators willing to work for free, using AI isn’t necessarily the only possible course of action, but it is a logical one, at least from the way I see it.
Let me be clear: when I’m using AI to help me create content, my standards are never lowered. Every piece of AI-generated/edited content I publish is given a thorough quality check by me, and if it doesn’t feel like something I would make, I tinker with it until it does. I use AI as an assistant and nothing more. I will never attempt to take full credit for something an AI helped me do. I am aware of the concerns that have and are currently being raised regarding the use of AI.
Is your content family friendly?
When I say “family-friendly,” I mean that my content doesn’t contain blasphemy, profanity, dirty humor or intentionally suggestive imagery. The strongest word I use is “crap.” I also try to keep gore out of my videos as much as possible.
The stuff I repost on X is usually about politics, which unfortunately means it might contain strong language. For this reason, I encourage those of a younger age to NOT follow me on X. Unless you’re into politics, you probably won’t get much out of it anyway.
When is Portal: Unstable coming out?
Never. I've moved on to bigger and better projects.
How much money do you make from this?
I’m not eligible for monetization on YouTube at the moment. In order to qualify, I need people to watch my videos for a total of 3,000 hours within the space of a year. So...if you could watch some of my videos, that would be great.
Could you get sued for using so much copyrighted material in your videos?
Usually, the worst-case scenario is that I get my video(s) demonetized or blocked in certain countries. If YouTube isn’t satisfied with that, the video will likely get taken down (which I will not protest. Usually). In the unlikely event that I break copyright law so seriously I have to go to court, I’ll send you a
postcard.

What happened to your online merchandise store?
I've stopped maintaining it for several reasons. Much like Frosty, it'll be back again someday.
Can we do a collaboration together?
I am not accepting collab requests right now, especially if it’s something that would take time away from my own projects (and, more importantly, my mission) So, for all intents and purposes, you only have a chance of collaborating with me if I’m the one to reach out first.
I clicked on one of your videos and it's just a black screen with a message saying that I should check the link in the description. What's up with that?
Try checking the link in the description, you moron. Unless it’s just a black screen with no message. Then
click this.
Why is one of your games broken?
Try playing on a different device. Very few of my games work on a phone or tablet. And if you haven't already, check out the game's description on
Logray Ultimate. There might be extra set-up instructions. If that doesn't work, it's probably just because the game is old and broken and you'll just have to play it that way. Sorry, dude.
Do you have a Discord server?
Yes, but it’s basically in limbo right now. I can confidently say that managing a Discord server is not something I have the time or skills to do right now. Once the server is properly set up, I’ll let you know.
This list/chat log will be expanded as I get asked more questions.
